Zawieszanie się systemu!

Posiadam laptop ASUS Z92T. Od roku mam zainstalowane na nim Ubuntu.

Od samego początku mam dziwną przypadłość! System bez żadnego ostrzeżenia i bez najmniejszego powodu ZAWIESZA się! Mogę sobię co najwyzej myszką po ekranie polatać bo nic innego już nie reaguje!
Zawieszenia zdazaja sie nieregularnie.... Czasami cały dzien bez zawieszen a czasami 20 razy dziennie (jak np. dzis!!!! MAM DOSC!)

Wiem, ze moze zainstalowanie systemu od nowa by pomoglo (chociaz nie wiadomo, bo od 6.06 ten blad sie pojawia...) ale nie moge sobie teraz na to pozwolic! Pisze prace magisterska i nie chce sie bawic tygodniami w konfigurowanie systemu... Dopiero w pazdzierniku zainstaluje na czysto...
Dlatego prosze o jakakolwiek pomoc!!!! Z tym sie daje pracowac :(
Nawet nie wiem jak i gdzie moge szukac przyczyny :(

Dysponujesz jakimś innym systemem operacyjnym poza Ubuntu? Jeśli tak, to sprawdź jak tam zachowuje się laptop. Mimo pozorów częstą przyczyną zawieszania się jest zła praca podzespołów komputera, a niżeli jego oprogramowania.

1. Zawiesza się nawet wtedy, gdy uruchomisz i zostawisz bez włączania żadnych programów?
2. Czy zdarza się to przy jakimś jednym konkretnym programie?
3. Może masz za mało miejsca na dysku? Wklej wynik

Zawieszenia zdazaja sie losowo... Raz potrafi zawiesic sie gdy mam mplayera wlaczonego, innym razem juz na samym starcie nautilusa a przewaznie zawiesza sie poprostu podczas przegladania internetu, pisaniu pracy lub zwyklej rozmowie na gg...
Wyglada to tak, ze nagle sie wszystko zatrzymuje, ekran raz mignie i koniec... Tylko wskaznik myszki reaguje...

Mozliwe, ze to wada sprzetowa chociaz watpie bo przed ubuntu mialem zainstalowany xp (dawali z laptopem...) i wszystko chodzilo dobrze.

Wlasnie sobie przypomnialem, ze te zawieszenia są tez uzaleznione od polaczenia internetowego... W domu zdazaja mi sie tak jak mowilem - czasami zero a czasami z 20 dziennie... Ale gdy np. ide na uczelnie i tam podlaczam sie do netu i np. probuje korystac z drukarki sieciowej to mam tez 20 zwiech ale W GODZINE!!! I to nie tylko przy drukarce... Np. przy sciaganiu czegos, rozmowie czy nawet zwyklym nic nie robieniu...

P.S. To jest smieszne z tym My Book_ ... Kompletnie zle wyswietla ilosc dostepnego miejsca.. Myslalem ze aktualizacja z 6.06 na 7.04 rozwiaze ten problem, ale sie pomylilem...

do linii poleceń kernela aby uniknąć problemów z wolnym połączeniem i utratą pakietów. Może to związane jest też z Twoimi problemami.

Dla próby zrób tak:
uruchom komputer
gdy dojdziesz do menu GRUBa podświetl kernel do załadowania
naciśnij e
podświetl najdłuższą linijkę
naciśnij e
dopisz na końcu w/w opcje
naciśnij enter
naciśnij b

Jeśli to zadziała, to aby dodać opcje na stałe edytuj plik /boot/grub/menu.lst i dopisz do każdej linii "kernel" (wpisy są na dole pliku, pomiń wpis z memtest) w/w opcje i zapisz plik.

Najgorsze w tym wszystkim jest to, że nie mogę od razu stwierdzić czy problem jest rozwiązany :-)
Póki co działa kilkanaście minut, ale czasami, jak pisałem, nie miałem zawieszenia przez cały dzień :-)
Niedługo wypróbuję opcję ze Skypem, wtedy zawsze się wywalał przy długiej rozmowie.

... przynajmniej nie mam tego komunikatu o błędzie na początku: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! :D

Są jeszcze inne opcje kernela, które w jakiś sposób mogą pomóc, gdyby te zawiodły, więc w razie czego jest jeszcze co testować. ;)

Udało się! Ponad godzina rozmowy na skype i nie było zawieszenia! (Wcześniej średnio po 20 minutach było) :-)

westcoaster, sterowniki grafy podejrzewałem na samym początku występowania tego problemu. Mam zainstalowane przy pomocy envy i z grafiką wszystko jest ok. Zawieszenia są zawsze jakoś powiązane z internetem. Np. Jak próbuję wysłać dokument do drukowania na drukarkę połączoną w sieci to nie ma mowy by się nie zawiesił. Tak samo przy rozmowach na Skype chociaż tutaj to już nieregularnie.
Dlatego zacząłem szukać przyczyny powiązanej z netem. Myślałem, że może wina leży po stronie karty WiFi ale to też nie to...
Na razie pomocne okazały się dodatki do boota, które podał Mario. Przyczyną były gubione pakiety? Może... Na razie wszystko na to wskazuje. Jak by pojawił się znowu problem, to na pewno napiszę :D

witam mialem taki sam problem z lg laptopem powiem tak to jest na bank wina płyty głównej identyczne problemy miałem nie chcieli mi wymienić lub naprawić dopiero jak była rozprawa konsumentcka w sadzie ,biegły od spraw komputerów uznał że w danym modelu f1 2a4gy jest błędna konfiguracja sprzętowa, czyli np płyta nie wsułgra z grafiką itp sprawę wygrałem lg zwróciło mi kasę za laptopa trwało to 3 miesiące zawieszał mi się przy wygaszaczach zawieszał sie jak postał włączony trochę zawieszał się podczas używania firefoxa itp przestrzegam przed firma lg ich serwis jest zerowy

Też mam ten problem na normalnym kompie. Już sprawdzałem wszystko : pamięci, dyski, napędy (nawet przez chwile myślałem ze wymiana napedu cd pomogła bo nie było zawiechu przez 2 dni. Po dwóch dniach niestety zawiecha). Napiszcie mi w którym pliku *.log szukać ewentualnie wpisu o błędzie. Zauważyłem również, że najczęściej dzieje się tak przy korzystaniu z przeglądarki internetowej ( w moim przypadku Firefox) Lecz zdarzało się, że zawiecha była przy wyłączonych przeglądarkach. (Podejrzewam JAVE, ale i tak nie wiem jak sobie z tym poradzić bo jestem zieloniutki :) ) Pozdrawiam wszystkich serdecznie i życzcie mi wytrwałości bo jestem bliski pie****nięcia linuxa w kąt. :pt36: :tes:

U mnie na laptopie Asus z92vm to samo. Dysk w pewnym momencie staje. Jakby przechodził w jakiś sleep-mode.

próbowałem również z Knoppixem i jest ten sam efekt bez różnicy czy pracuje z dystrybucji live CD czy z zainstalowanej na dysku.

moze nie bedzie problemu jak zainstalujemy dystrybucje ktora nie bazuje na debianie?...ja sie mecze z tymi zawieszeniami jakis miesiac juz i powoli wymiekam...ale malo czasu zeby przeskoczyc na inna dystrybucje. do Xp nie chce wracac...choc ba mam wersje studencka za free. Jestem pewien ze te zawieszenia idzie rozwiazac - tylko ze ja laik jestem, wychowany z M$.
